Today turned out to have some very unexpected wind!
Like Sunday (but a little less) there was *just* enough wind to get
planing, and once going the Manta/7.5m combination doesn't really stop.
Great fun mainly because it was *such* light wind, once you take off it
feels ridiculous to be locked-in and flying along. I was the only person
out again in the whole bay and I sailed for about an hour until it dropped
a tiny bit and I'd really had enough by then.
A couple of foil/wing-surfers went out a little bit after me, but neither
of them could get up and foiling (perhaps they were just beginners?).
Very glad to have made the most of some seriously marginal conditions
again! That really is it for the week though (according to the forecast
anyway...).
Four stars again just because it was really fun having the whole of the bay
to myself :)
